Call summaries

Every call, written down and waiting in your inbox.

Voicemails get skipped and sticky notes get lost. Tactly sends you a short, readable account of each call, with the whole conversation underneath.

  • TactlyGood afternoon, Alder and Finch Tailoring. I'm the virtual assistant and this call may be recorded. How can I help?
  • CallerHi, this is Omar. I dropped off a suit for hemming. Is it ready?
  • TactlyI can't check orders, but I'll pass this to the team right away. What's the best number for you?
  • Caller555 0142.
  • TactlyThat's 555 0142. Got it, Omar. Someone will call you back.
  • Message taken: order status, callback requested
  • Summary and transcript emailed to the owner

How does call summaries work?

After every call it answers, Tactly saves a summary and a full transcript and emails them to you. The summary says who called, the number they gave, what they wanted, and what happened: a booking, a transfer or a message. The transcript underneath shows the whole conversation word for word, so you can check details before you call someone back.

The outcome comes first

Booked, transferred or message taken. You can tell at a glance whether a call needs anything from you.

Numbers are read back

When a caller leaves a number, Tactly repeats it to them before the call ends, so the one in your email is the right one.

The whole conversation is there

If the summary is not enough, scroll down. The transcript has every line, in order.

Everything in one place

Calls are also saved in your dashboard, so you can look back at last Tuesday without searching your inbox.

Straight talk

What it will not do.

Knowing the limits is how you set it up well.

  • Summaries go to the owner by email and the dashboard. Nothing is sent to the caller.
  • It writes down what was said. It does not look up orders, accounts or records it was not given.
