Zapier and webhooks
Every call, sent wherever your team already works.
The email summary is a good start. If your leads live in a CRM, a spreadsheet or a team chat, Tactly can send each call there too.
- TactlyThanks for calling Harborview Realty. I'm the virtual assistant, and this call may be recorded. How can I help?
- CallerHi, I'm Jenna. I'd like to see the townhouse on Pier Street this weekend.
- TactlyHappy to help, Jenna. Saturday at 11:00 is open for a showing. Shall I book it?
- CallerPerfect.
- Booked: Showing, Saturday 11:00 am
- Call sent to Zapier
How does zapier and webhooks work?
Tactly can send every finished call to Zapier. Paste a Zapier Catch Hook URL, or any https webhook address, into your Tactly settings, and after each call it posts the call's details: who called, their number, the summary, any message and any booking. From Zapier you can pass that to your CRM, a spreadsheet or a team chat. A test button sends a sample so you can check it works, and it stays off until you add a URL.
Paste one link
Create a Catch Hook in Zapier, or use any https webhook, and paste the address into your Tactly settings.
Test it before a real call
The Send test button posts a sample call, and the settings show whether the last delivery went through.
Each call arrives as data
Caller name and number, the summary, the message left and the appointment booked, ready to map into the fields you use.
Off until you switch it on
With no link saved nothing is sent anywhere. The email summary keeps arriving either way.
Straight talk
What it will not do.
Knowing the limits is how you set it up well.
- It sends each call after it ends. It does not read anything back from your other tools during a call.
- It needs an https address, such as a Zapier Catch Hook.
- Connecting the data onward, to a CRM or a sheet, happens in Zapier or your own system.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Does Tactly work with Zapier?
Yes. Paste a Zapier Catch Hook URL into your settings and every finished call is sent to it, ready to pass along to the other apps you use.
Can Tactly look up customers in my CRM during a call?
No. The connection runs one way: Tactly sends each call out after it ends. It answers callers from the notes you wrote.
Do I have to use Zapier?
No. Any https webhook works, so a developer can send calls straight into your own system.

The calls that come in at 7pm on a Sunday are often the ones that want you most. Tactly picks up, says the team is away, and helps them anyway.
