How it works
Set up once. Answered for good.
No scripts, no phone trees, no new hardware. You describe your business in plain sentences and Tactly takes it from there.
How does an AI receptionist work?
You give Tactly your business details in plain sentences and point your calls at it, either with a new local number or by forwarding the calls you miss. When someone rings, it answers in your business's name, works out what they need, books them into your calendar, transfers them to you during your hours or takes a message, and emails you a transcript and summary afterwards.
Setup
Four steps to live.
Tell it about your business
Your hours, services, service area and the questions you hear every week. Plain sentences, no scripts.
Pick a number
Take a new local number, or keep yours and forward the calls you miss to Tactly.
Call it yourself
Test calls from your own phone are free. Adjust the notes until it sounds like your front desk.
Switch it on
Tactly picks up, books, transfers and emails you a summary after every call.
On every call
What happens when the phone rings.
It answers in your business's name
With the greeting you write. Callers hear a natural voice, not a menu of numbers to press.
It works out what the caller needs
A booking, a question, an urgent problem or a message. It asks the follow-up a good front desk would ask.
It acts
Books into your calendar, answers from your notes, transfers to you during your hours, or takes a complete message.
You get the summary
A transcript and a short summary of each call lands in your inbox, so you know what happened without listening back.
FAQ
Questions, answered
How long does setup take?
Most businesses are ready the same day. Writing good notes is the main job, and you can start with your hours, services and service area and add more as you hear the test calls.
Can I choose when Tactly answers?
Yes. It can answer every call, answer only after hours, or let your phone ring first and pick up the calls you do not get to. You change the mode from your dashboard.
Does it make things up?
No. It answers from your notes and knowledge base only. If a caller asks something you have not covered, it says it does not have that detail and takes a message for you.
What about emergencies?
Tactly is not an emergency service. For a genuine emergency it tells the caller to hang up and dial 911.
Stop sending callers to voicemail.
Set up your receptionist, make a free test call from your own phone, and switch it on when it sounds right.
