Before you start
- A Tactly account. You need the owner or editor role to change its settings.
- A Zoom account with Zoom Scheduler, and at least one schedule set up in it.
Add Tactly to Zoom
- Sign in to your Tactly dashboard and open the AI Receptionist settings. If you are setting Tactly up for the first time, the same step is in the setup wizard.
- Under booking, choose “Book straight into my Zoom Scheduler”.
- Click Connect Zoom.
- Sign in to Zoom in the window that opens and approve the Tactly app.
- Back in Tactly, pick the schedule callers should be booked into, then save.
From the next call, Tactly offers times from that schedule. It can be your personal schedule or a team schedule.
Using Tactly with Zoom
- When a caller asks to book, Tactly offers open times from the schedule you picked and books the one they choose.
- The booking appears in Zoom Scheduler like any other, and Zoom sends the caller the confirmation and the meeting link.
- To book into a different schedule, change it in your AI Receptionist settings at any time and save.
Remove Tactly from Zoom
You can disconnect from either side.
- In Tactly: open your AI Receptionist settings and click Disconnect Zoom.
- In Zoom: open the Zoom App Marketplace, click Manage, then Added Apps, find Tactly and click Remove.
When the app is removed, Tactly deletes the Zoom connection it stored, meaning the access tokens and the Zoom account and schedule identifiers, and stops offering Zoom booking. Callers who ask to book then get your fallback instead: Tactly takes a message, or gives them your booking link if you have set one.
What Tactly can see in Zoom
Tactly reads your Zoom Scheduler schedules and their availability, and creates bookings in the schedule you picked. It does not read your meetings, what is said in them, or your recordings.
